Pastor Andrew and Barbie Hadden

Pastor Andrew was raised in a Christian home and trusted Christ at an early age. He surrendered his life to God as a teen and later enlisted in the US Marine corps as an infantryman, deploying twice to Afghanistan. While stationed in Hawaii, he met and married his wife, Barbie. After completing his time of active duty, he attended Pensacola Christian College and graduated with a degree in Pastoral Ministries. Starting as a teen, Pastor Andrew served in many facets of ministry. Since then, he has overseen children’s ministries, led Bible studies and staff trainings, run safety teams, has preached and taught in many situations, used his skills in construction to do ministry maintenance and repairs, and has jumped in to help wherever there was a need. He is passionate about reaching the lost, and growing and mentoring individuals in their walk with the Lord. Pastor Andrew was called to Berean in July of 2023. He and Barbie have been blessed with four boys, and are excited to serve the Lord together as a family.

Barbie trusted Christ as her Savior as a young girl and grew up serving in a ministry family as a missionary and pastor’s kid. She graduated from Pensacola Christian College with a B.S. in Elementary Education and later with a M.A. of Educational Administration. She went to Hawaii and taught elementary, band, and music in a Christian school. She used her summers to teach around the world in various VBS’s, orphanages, Bible clubs, a rescue mission, and teacher training seminars. While in Florida, Barbie taught at Pensacola Christian Academy, and taught private music lessons. She has a heart for women and children and is passionate about helping people grow in their walk and skills for Christ. Barbie homeschools her children and shares her gifts as a teacher, musician, and administrator to serve as the Women and Children’s Ministry Director at Berean.
